The Akuvox A15S combines SIP video intercom calling and intelligent access control in one ultra-narrow device. At only 50 mm wide, it is ideal for mounting on narrow door frames and mullions where a conventional door station may not fit.

Visitors can use the touchscreen bell button to place an intercom call, while authorised users can unlock the door using facial recognition, MIFARE cards, PIN codes, QR codes, Bluetooth or mobile credentials. Facial recognition operates in less than 200 milliseconds with a stated accuracy of 99.7%.

The A15S features a 4.59-inch touchscreen, 2MP main and auxiliary cameras, built-in microphone and speaker, and SIP v1 and SIP v2 support. Two onboard relay outputs allow connected doors, gates or other locking devices to be controlled, including individual relay operation using DTMF commands during an intercom call.

Wiegand, RS485, four inputs and power pass-through provide flexible integration with electric locks, card readers and third-party access control systems. The A15S can be powered using PoE+ or 12V DC and supports both surface-mounted and optional flush-mounted installation.

With IP65 weather protection, IK07 impact resistance and tamper alarm support, the A15S is suitable for residential developments, offices, commercial buildings and multi-tenant applications.
